Sexahol Review

On January 23, I was part of the hilarious line-up for the monthly Sexahol Review. It was an evening of Comedy, Song and Burlesque and the laughs never stopped with a terrific audience! Even Laurence and David Slone performed their original material and some fantastic Improv Comedy. Kyle Supley sang some songs and did a duet with his Cher and his Carol Channing impresion. Kate Brehm showed us her fun puppets. Jeremy Van Wagener showed us an experimental song and dance that included experiences about his life in Utah. The international Burlesque sensation Creamy Stevens performed two erotic and exotic dance numbers that were fun and sexy. And I added my own special touch of glamor and comedy to the evening!

NextWorks at Club H

Among the City’s best LGBT Networking parties are the monthly Next Works soirees hosted by Next Magazine and The Men Event. There was one tonight held on Thursday, January 17 at the first class health club, Club H Fitness. The party featured big gift bags and an open bar sponsored by Christiania Vodka, a new spirit imported from Norway and one of the smoothest Vodkas I ever had! I also loved the gorgeous Norwegian bartenders! The party was also celebrating the new release of the newest book from best-selling author Rich Merritt called Code of Conduct, following his previous hit Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star! On display were new original art work created by Michael Curry. I had a marvelous time with then and the gourgous and talened singer/songwriter Lovari, Next Magazine Editor Brian Moylan, Hugh Hysell of Men Event and Broadway Insider, my dear girlfriends Rita and Cleo, and many others.

Out FM Radio

I had the pleasure of being on the Radio on Monday, January 14, as a guest commentator on Out FM on WBAI FM Radio in New York City. The gorgeous Pedro Angle Serrano, DJ, VJ, producer, Radio personality and everyone's favorite Gay Puerto Rican Skinhead punk rocker had the brilliant idea of having a show with Out comedians joking about the news topics relevant to the Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Trans Community in 2007. Along with me and Pedro were Robin Cloud, the Lesbian reporter who I also work with on Under the Pink Carpet and Paige Collette, Bi funny gal, playwright and Burlesque Diva. We had a great time joking about what happened last year like the Same-sex marriage bill being passed in Albany, new Out elected officials being elected, the infamous Republican airport Men's Room Sex Scandal, Transgender people filing harassment lawsuits for tying to use public restrooms and fitting rooms and other topics. Having a good sense of humor really helps out when you're Queer, and also when you're a Skinhead!

I wasn't sure how to dress for the Radio. Do jewelry and accessories matter if the audience can't see you? Of course they do! The essence of fun, charm and confidence radiates right across the airwaves! Out FM is a multi-racial, progressive, LGBT public affairs and culture show that is broadcast on WBAI FM in New York City on 99.5 FM on Mondays at 11:00 AM.
