NYC Life New TV Season Launch Gala

I had a wonderful time adding a touch of my special glamour at special gala soiree held by NYC life (channel 25.) NYC Life, the flagship television station of NYC Media, announced the launch of its expanded fall line-up which includes the tv series I correspond for, “Under the Pink Carpet,” and more than a dozen new weekly short-form programs showcasing New York City. Part of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, NYC Media is the official TV, radio and online network of the City of New York, informing, educating and entertaining millions of viewers about the City’s diverse people and neighborhoods, government, services, attractions and activities. Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment Commissioner Katherine Oliver, NYC Media General Manager Diane Petzke, Dave Evans from “$9.99”, Ornella Fado of “Binadimo!”, Toni Seneca of “Toni on NY”, Kela Walker of “That’s So NY”, Mickey Burns of “Profiles”, Jamie McDonald of “NY Originals”, Tony Sawicki of "Under the Pink Carpet” and hundreds more previewed a first look of the new programming during the sixth annual New York Television Festival—an indie TV Festival providing a platform to elevate the work of artists creating for the small screen.

Kings, Cowboys and a Queen

I always love attending the annual VIP Birthday bash called "Kings & Cowboys" celebrating the birthdays of original Village People Cowboy Randy Jones and actor, promoter and VH1 personality Keith Collins. The soiree took place at the posh Foundation Club on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I had a blast mingling and dancing with my chums including Gerald McCullouch of CBS TV's "CSI" (Crime Scene Investigation), Thalia DeCosta of MTV, American Idol Season Five contestant Brenna Gethers, recoding artist Lovari, Tony Sawicki of NY Life's "Under the Pink Carpet", Mark Schulte, Anu, Brad, Karen and many others.

Fresh Fruit Nuyorican Cabaret

I love doing live Cabaret performances and I had a wonderful time hosting and performing at the Fresh Fruit Festival's monthly performance art variety showcase called The Fresh Fruit Playhouse. The event took place at the renowned East Village showroom called The Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, home of the original poetry slam. It was an amazing show with Frank Calo, Jed Ryan, India M., Patrick O'Hare, Kelli Dunham, Mary Lauren, Miki Alvarez, Noriel Galiano and many others.
